About the SW-ARE blog

What is the mission of the blog?
To serve as a place to share commentary and news about, by and for the members of the SW-ARE.
To supplement the SW-ARE website.

With this blog, we hope to provide a place for sharing SW-ARE news and personal experiences from being in the SW-ARE, with others in our A.R.E. – Southwest Region community.  We’re starting small and hoping that we can build it with time and interest.  The blog articles will be moderated, and while we may decline some non-ARE related articles, we will work to accommodate each blog article author.  We seek to create a location for reading about other members’ experiences with anything SW-ARE.

We would like to welcome any personal anecdotes and experiences related to Edgar Cayce, the A.R.E. and the A.R.E. Southwest Region.  The subjects we seek articles for are:
Cayce Reading Health applications – for example, experiences with Castor Oil, peanut oil, any of the appliances, etc.
SW region study groups – histories, anecdotal stories, interesting news, etc
The Search for God books – personal experiences, insights, etc.
The regular SW-ARE retreats – personal experiences, suggestions for retreat topics, etc.
ARE-SW news - any ARE-SW related news happening around the region.  (While other similar non-ARE events possibly of interest to ARE members will be occurring, we’re going to restrict this blog to SW-ARE news only.)
Workshop experiences – What did you like?  What would you like to attend?  What did you get out of any of the myriad workshops that are offered during the retreats or other day events?
Members’ experiences with the ARE in Virginia Beach – Share with those that haven’t been there.
And pictures of any SW-ARE event – While we cannot accommodate a flood of pictures, if you have several that you’d like to share of SW-ARE participation, this would be a good place to post them.

If sharing personal experiences related to specific readings, if possible, please try to provide the location number for others to find the same readings.

So, if there are any writers out there, be courageous, be bold, be artistic, and share what you have inside you.

To submit the articles, see the “How To…” tab.
